In a world where agricultural conditions are changing fast and many ag products are outdated and even harmful, you’ll be glad to know we’ve got a team of top international scientists creating ideal products that work better and faster so you get healthier crops and bigger profits. Our scientists made Fulvigain™ and Humigain™ because growers and ag formula manufacturers needed a superior alternative to the sediment-laden, watered-down fulvic and humic products our competitors make. Those products fail to deliver the proven soil restoration, crop growth, increased yield and protective benefits that fulvic and humics can provide, and they cause clogged equipment and crop damage. Our research scientists discovered the best ways to extract, filter, preserve and ship fulvic and humic acids. That’s why Fulvigain™ and Humigain™ are more potent, concentrated, cost-effective and easy to use than any other fulvic and humic products. Our research team’s vast array of experience and expertise guarantees that you get products that deliver maximum power with zero problems. Most ag companies have only a handful of researchers, and some don’t have any. This means that their products are definitely NOT the latest and best formulas, and that quality control problems are frequently present. When companies don’t have the scientific approach to product development that you get from Applied Ag Science, they produce defective products that waste your money and time. We’re proud of our 20-member scientific research team. Scientists include Dr. Ram Kaw, a plant growth specialist with three decades of career agricultural experience in teaching and crop development. Dr. Kaw oversees and conducts in-depth analysis of plant heredity, breeding and crop production technology. He coordinates research, development and production activities in North America and with other Applied Ag Science researchers worldwide. He oversees plant growth research, quality control, and for keeping products upgraded according to the latest advances in plant science. In addition, Dr. Kaw conducts a rigorous program of product testing and evaluation in different growth environments, including laboratories, greenhouses, fields, vineyards and golf courses. His academic qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture, a Master of Science, and a PhD in Agricultural Botany. During his illustrious career as a plant scientist and educator, Dr. Kaw has worked at prestigious agricultural research/development institutions in several countries, including the Rockefeller Foundation and Cargill Seeds. Along with authoring at least 90 research papers published in respected national and international journals, Dr. Kaw has wide-ranging experience developing superior varieties of wheat, barley, rice, mustard, rapeseed, sugar beet, sunflower, corn and other crops. He was a primary scientist at the International Rice Research Institute in Manila, Philippines, where he spent several years developing high-yielding, cold-tolerant rice varieties for South Korea, Pakistan, the Philippines and India. Kaw’s North American research is assisted by Peter Vakomies, who has a Masters of Science in Plant Biochemistry from Simon Fraser University (SFU) in Vancouver, Canada. Vakomies earned his Masters of Science studying photosynthesis. His career activities include plant growth researcher, agricultural sales rep, horticulture teaching, tree production, greenhouse supervisor and field planter. Europe is known as a leading developer of innovative farming and crop growth technologies, and that’s one reason we’ve got Europe’s top scientists on our staff. Our head of European research is Dr. Valentin Savov, a microbiology and biotechnology specialist who is also a lauded professor at the University of Sofia in Bulgaria. Dr. Savov is a well-known published author of dozens of plant science and biology studies, including unique studies relating to plant growth and plant life processes. Along with being a professor, researcher and author, Savov is an educator who designs classes and research procedures for plant science students, agribusiness and professional colleagues. He pioneered laboratory and manufacturing processes that make better testing of fertilizers and more up to date products. His research into the molecular properties and crop-enhancing qualities of humates is a main reason Fulvgain™ and Humigain™ are so much more effective and easy to use than our competitors’ fulvic-humic products. Dr. Savov is assisted by Dr. Pencho Delev, a multi-lingual PhD scientist with training and experience in biological, chemical and technological sciences. His expertise in organic chemistry, food science, and teaching make him a vital member of our science team. Another valuable Applied Ag research scientist is Dr. George Tsvetkov. This hard-working team member is one of the most eminent plant physiologists in Europe. He has exclusive training and knowledge in horticulture, agriculture and viticulture. His research reveals the inner workings of plant growth regulators, fulvic and humic acids, plant enzymes, metabolism, and plant immune systems. Dr. Tsvetkov’s research helps develop products like concentrated, high-powered Humigain™ and Fulvigain™ that increase growth rate and yield, along with protecting plants from pests, diseases, and stress. Other companies that sell fulvic and humic acids have no scientists working on product development or quality control. All they do is buy cheap fulvic and humics from questionable sources, dilute them, and sell them. Our scientists test samples of the finest leonardite to get the best humics and fulvics, Micro-Pure™ extract them so they’re molecularly intact, make ultra-fresh preparations, and bottle them so they stay fresh. We’re very excited about Tsvetkov’s gibberellic acid research, which creates novel methods for improving germination/early growth rates of seed-grown plants. Dr. Tsvetkov’s researches how to help crops grow faster and reach maturity earlier so they produce more yields and have shorter overall growth seasons. Other cutting edge research is being conducted for us by Dr. Yanko Mihov. He studies fermentation processes. Fermentation of organic materials has long been used by organic and traditional farmers. Fermentation produces special nutrients and biological organisms that feed plants, feed soil and increase plant metabolism. Fermentation-based formulas, along with products such as Fulvigain™ and Humigain™ are examples of the most promising and progressive aspects of 21st century agribusiness. Such products are classified as “biocatalysts.” A biocatalyst is a substance that creates enhanced biologic and metabolic conditions so plants, grasses and trees can better uptake nutrients, have healthier root systems, and provide more growth and yield. Biocatalysts are also used to restore damaged soil. Another benefit Dr. Mihov brings to our research team is his knowledge of amino acid synthesis. Amino acids are building blocks of proteins and a vital part of plant metabolic processes. Most fertilizer companies fail to include proper forms of amino acids in their nutrient products. Dr. Mihov focuses on the benefits of amino acids for strong growth and huge yield, and Applied Ag Science will soon release formulas that give you the benefits of his amino acid research. We’re very excited that Dr. Mihov has created special processes that use microbial synthesis to produce a full range of amino acids that are easily utilized by crops. Along with being a top researcher and inventor, Dr. Mihov is a highly-ranked university professor and published scientist who has authored nearly a hundred scientific papers in international journals. He is an award-winning head of at least 15 national and international scientific research projects, and is co-author of university manuals relating to microbiology and plant growth. Another vital member of our Humigain™ and Fulvigain™ development project is Dr. Konstantin Chakalov. He’s an award-winning agronomist with three decades of experience in soil science, humates, plant protection, and ecology. As an agronomist, Dr. Konstantin Chakalov specializes in studying interactions between plants, nutrients and root zone environments. Chakalov uses sophisticated research tools and techniques to develop new crop hybrids and varieties that grow more efficiently, but his main focus is on our humic and fulvic products. His specialty is studying humus- the rich natural substance that contain concentrated organic nutrients, biocatalysts and microorganisms. He’s learned proprietary ways of extracting humic and fulvic acids from humus, and that’s another reason Fulvigain™ and Humigain™ are so potent, fresh and effective. Our super-concentrated Micro-Pure™ humic and fulvic extracts improve soil tilth, while boosting crop immune systems, growth, and yield. They also counteract soil toxicity, including heavy metals pollution- which are becoming a huge problem for growers worldwide. Ironically, some of our competitors are importing humates from China and other places to use in their fulvic and humic acid products. Some of these humates are polluted with heavy metals! Our humates come from the richest veins of the best leonardite, which is an organic material that provides top fulvic and humic acids. Dr. Chakalov is an expert in reducing soil pollution and purging toxins from crops and soils. When toxins, heavy metals and other substances are removed, crops grow better and sell better. Dr. Chakalov’s expertise is especially complemented by the expertise of another member of our team: Dr. Todorka Popova. Dr. Popova’s training, research and experience as a chemist, soil scientist, fruit grower and minerals expert provide a broad range of knowledge create improvements in Applied Ag Science products. Having soil scientists on board our company train is beneficial to you because healthy soil is essential to better crop performance and lower production costs. Depleted soil lacks beneficial microbes, aeration, enzymes and other features that living soil contains. This causes you to spend more on fertilizers and other crop inputs. Dr. Chakalov, Dr. Popova and all the Applied Ag scientists are always zealously working to make soil healthier so crops will grow better. Applied Ag Science is proud to have a highly-regarded female biochemist, plant physiologist and microbiologist on the research team. Dr. Svetlana Bratkova brings a high level of knowledge and experience to the design of products that cause hydroponics plants to grow faster and produce more profitable harvests. Her expertise in beneficial bacteria, carbon ratios, pH, chemical testing, and the use of organic compounds is another reason that Applied Ag Science leads the way in developing the newest and best growth products. Applied Ag Science always recruits and retains top-ranked scientists. Our company’s research team is the most talented and diversified ever. Our scientists are multi-lingual, from a variety of professional and academic backgrounds, dedicated to plants, and able to bring together the best plant science ideas and technology from the best research facilities, field tests and universities around the world.
